The TPRS Step course is a 15 week course (meets once a week for 60-90 minutes) whose goal it is to take your skills to the expert level by:
- managing the class during stories to maximize student engagement,
- adding a variety of ways (over 20 new tools) to do the TPRS skills
- increase engagement through dramatization, dialogue, and other techniques
- and adding “toppings” to your TPRS with 23 strategies for interest.
The course will be offered once in the Fall (August to December) and once in the Spring (January to May). The time of the class will be from 4-5pm Pacific time with an optional Question and Answer time for 30 minutes afterward.
This course is also eligible for Graduate Level Credit that can be used to re-certify or move over on the pay scale. The course name is PEDU 9138: Intermediate TPRS Storytelling Practicum (1-3 credits). Visit
